"Home of Future Prospects"
West Coast Baseball School's Alumni
Since 1988 West Coast Baseball School has developed the San Fernando and Conejo Valley as a hot bed of talent for the Collegiate and Professional levels. WCBS continues to develop as one of the nation's leaders in training young players. Their philosophy is very simple. Starting at ages 6-10 they develop the desire to enjoy the game by introducing their summer camps to young players. Having sparked the desire, its time to
teach them the proper way to reach the next level of competition. By providing the players travel ball teams, (West Coast Prospects), which teaches them how to maximize their success while learning how to handle failure by learning from their mistakes. Once they get to high school its now time to focus on the development of their five tools. Hitting Ability, Hitting for Power, Running Speed, Defensive Skills and Arm Strength. Along with the proper guidance in choosing showcase's to attend to show off their skills. The better prepared players will play for their fall scout ball team in association with the Atlanta Braves. As a result they have produced a long list of alumni players.
